Introduction
Welcome to the DCMP Web site!
Any visitor may use a number of the features on our site and benefit from accessibility information presented here.
However, we offer two levels of membership (Level 1 and Level 2) which provide increased benefits. Both are available
at no cost. Applications for membership are usually processed in one day.
Level 1 benefits: You can access information services, save your Web site preferences,
save customized favorite listings of media items from our catalog, and elect to receive newsletters concerning
information on new content and services. Once you’ve completed Level 1 registration and have logged into the site,
you will be asked if you’d like to complete the Level 2 registration. Level
2 registration is necessary if you want to borrow materials from the DCMP media
library.
Level 2 benefits: You must be registered as a Level 1 member before
you can complete Level 2 registration. You have all Level 1 benefits plus access to the media library. You must meet
qualification requirements in order to register
as a Level 2 member. The media library is for use by deaf, hard of hearing, blind,
visually impaired, or deaf-blind students, their teachers, parents, and others whose use of the DCMP benefits at least
one deaf, hard of hearing, blind, visually impaired, or deaf-blind student. Teacher and interpreter training program participants and
staff also qualify.
